The application rate varies by surface: 0.20 g/m² on glass and 0.30 g/m² on wood and cement. This makes the formulation practical for residual treatment of common interior surfaces.

Cypermethrin is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide that acts primarily through contact with treated surfaces. When mosquitoes, flies or cockroaches contact a treated area, they are exposed to the insecticide residue, supporting knockdown and control of the target pest. Because the action is contact-based, control does not depend on the insect feeding on the product.

The wettable powder formulation is designed to deliver the active ingredient to treated surfaces. Once mixed with water and sprayed, the formulation leaves a residual deposit across the treated surface. This residual layer supports continued insecticidal activity between spray applications, with performance depending on the application rate, surface type and local conditions.

For resistance management, cypermethrin belongs to IRAC Group 3A. Insecticide rotation may form part of professional vector-control resistance-management programs. Use this product only according to the registered label and applicable national requirements, including any approved rotation or tank-mix instructions. Do not tank-mix unless explicitly permitted.

Preparing the spray suspension. Add the pre-weighed 10% cypermethrin wettable powder to clean water at a powder-to-water ratio of 1:50–80 to prepare a uniform suspension for spraying. Use appropriate residual spraying equipment and ensure the mixture is continuously agitated throughout the spraying process. Prepare only the amount required for the immediate application.

Applying the treatment.Using suitable residual spraying equipment, apply the prepared suspension evenly to the target surface at the prescribed dosage. Reference dosage (for powder formulation): 0.2 g/m² for glass surfaces; 0.30 g/m² for wood and concrete surfaces. Avoid excessive runoff; strictly follow the product label instructions regarding the application site and conditions.

Field safety. Wear the personal protective equipment specified on the label while mixing and spraying. Keep people and animals away from treated areas during application and until the label's re-entry requirements are met and surfaces are dry. Cover or remove food, drinking water, utensils and animal feed before treatment.
