Brodifacoum 0.005% Rodenticide Wax Blocks A

Brodifacoum wax blocks are a second-generation anticoagulant rodenticide (SGAR) made as compressed paraffin blocks. Each block is a square with a single centre hole for threading onto a bait-station rod, so the dose stays fixed for the length of the baiting round. The blocks are blue, which distinguishes them on sight from other bait lines held in the same store and keeps inspection records easy to read. A bittering agent is included to reduce the risk of accidental ingestion by children and animals.

Why Choose YUKANG 0.005% Brodifacoum Wax Blocks

In a building that has to stay presentable, bait has to stay where it is put. Loose grain spills, scatters and takes on moisture in humid air, and a station that has to be tidied after every visit quickly becomes a maintenance problem. A compressed block keeps the dose in one place and the station interior clean between inspections, which is what multi-site operators ask for.

A Low-Toxicity Grade for Customer-Facing Sites

Hotels, food retail and institutional buildings put bait stations in areas that staff and guests pass every day. This product carries a low-toxicity classification, which makes it easier to fit rodent control into a site's health and safety documentation. The classification does not replace station security: every block stays inside a locked, tamper-resistant station, and the label governs access precautions.

Blue Blocks for Clear Colour Coding

Where more than one bait line is stocked, colour is the fastest check. Blue blocks separate this product from red bromadiolone blocks on the same shelf and in the same station log, which reduces mix-ups during replenishment and keeps records clean for audits.

Compact Format for Discreet Station Placement

A compressed block takes up little room inside a station, so units can sit tight against wall bases, in service corridors and behind equipment without intruding on a customer area. The block holds its shape through handling, which keeps the station interior tidy between visits.

How Brodifacoum Works

Brodifacoum is a second-generation anticoagulant. A rodent has to take a sufficient dose for the active ingredient to interrupt the clotting cycle, and the consequences appear over the following days rather than straight away.

That lag is deliberate in programme terms. Feeding is not paired with an immediate negative response, so stations continue to be visited and the population is exposed repeatedly. Control then depends on dose, placement, station security and a steady inspection cycle rather than on any single visit.

Why a Wax Block Suits a Customer-Facing Site

In a customer-facing building, presentation matters as much as efficacy. A wax block does not scatter the way loose bait does, so the station stays clean and the area around it needs less attention during a service visit.

The block is also readable at a glance. An operator can see bite marks, moisture damage or contamination without opening pouches or weighing product, which keeps the inspection cycle short on sites with many stations.

Usage Method & Application

1. Identify Rodent Activity

Start with the evidence, not the floor plan. Droppings, smears along wall bases, gnaw damage on packaging and runways through stored goods show where stations will be worked; anywhere else, bait simply sits.

Inspect the site for signs of rodent activity, including droppings, gnaw marks, runways and burrows. Place bait where rodent activity is observed rather than distributing bait randomly.

2.
Secure the Wax Blocks

Slide each brodifacoum wax block onto the station rod through its centre hole, then lock the station. Place units along wall bases, runways and areas of confirmed activity. The registered label sets the rate at 7.5-15 g per bait point and two bait points per 15 m2 of indoor floor area. Put the full amount out at the start of the programme, as the label directs, so availability is not interrupted. Keep bait away from food, feed and water, and keep stations inaccessible to children, pets and non-target animals.

3. Inspect and Replenish

Inspect bait stations according to the product label and local requirements. Replace consumed, damaged or contaminated bait as necessary. Remove remaining bait after the treatment period and dispose of unused product according to the label and applicable local regulations.

4.
Safe Handling

Wear appropriate protective equipment when handling bait and avoid unnecessary contact with the product. When removing rodent carcasses, use suitable protective gloves and follow local disposal requirements. Dead rodents and leftover bait should be incinerated or buried as directed on the label, and disposal must comply with applicable local regulations; do not contaminate water, food or feed.

Anticoagulant rodenticides carry a secondary-poisoning risk to predators, scavengers and pets that consume poisoned rodents, so carcasses should be searched for and disposed of as the label directs, and working animals kept away from bait points and disposal areas. Do not reuse the packaging for other purposes. Store the product in a dry, cool, rain-proof place away from fire, out of reach of children, and never together with food, feed, drinking water or animal feed, as stated on the label.

Recommended Application Areas

Registered use is indoor placement inside protective bait stations. Within that scope the product is suited to:

  • Stockrooms, distribution centres and retail back-of-house areas
  • Food retail aisles, storage rooms and preparation kitchens
  • Hotel service corridors, plant rooms and guest-building utility areas
  • Institutional premises, staff facilities and canteens
  • Commercial offices and mixed-use buildings
  • Residential buildings where the local label permits

Any deployment that extends beyond the registered scope must adhere to the labeling and registration documentation corresponding to the target market.

First Aid

Accidental ingestion requires immediate medical attention. Take the product label or packaging to the medical professional. The label lists signs associated with anticoagulant poisoning — bleeding of the gums or nose, subcutaneous bleeding, blood in urine or stool, and in severe cases multiple bleeding sites, severe abdominal or back pain and loss of consciousness — and notes that vitamin K1 is the specific antidote. If discomfort occurs during or after use, stop contact immediately, carry out first aid and take the label to a hospital. Skin contact should be washed promptly with soap and clean water. Treatment must be given under medical supervision according to local medical guidance and the registered label.

FAQ

Q: What makes a wax block the better choice in a humid season?

A: Loose grain takes up moisture and can cake or sour, at which point rodents stop feeding on it. A paraffin-bound block keeps its structure and its dose in the same conditions, so bait remains edible rather than collapsing into dust. Labelling still governs placement, replacement and inspection.

Q: How do I fix wax blocks inside a bait station?

A: Pass the station rod or wire through the centre hole and secure it inside the station. A fixed block cannot be dragged away, and the station keeps children, pets and non-target animals out. Do not leave blocks loose.

Q: Where should the wax blocks be placed?

A: Registered use is indoor placement in tamper-resistant stations along walls, runways and confirmed activity. Station security and non-target precautions apply on every site.

Q: Can I get OEM packaging — my own pouch or pail design?

A: Yes. 100g and 500g pouches, the 5kg pail and the 25kg non-retail pail are available, with OEM or private-label branding subject to destination-market registration requirements.

Q: Are you a factory or a trading company?

A: Factory. Jiebao Biotech is an integrated pest-control manufacturer with over 25 years of production experience, covering R&D, formulation, production, sales and technical service — and we welcome facility verification and sample requests before order.
